I know that it's been a while since I have written anything. Life has been unpredictable lately (to say the very least) as well as extreemly busy. One of these days, readers may get the full scoop on life, but for now I am sharing a very watered down version.
I just returned from a house hunting trip. We have an accepted offer on a house, so that is one box checked off of the to-do list. Now there are only about 500 more boxes to go and only two months to get them done in. My head is spinning to say the very least.
Now, I am sure the question is still out there as to where we will be moving to. Well, I will have to keep you in suspense for a while longer, until I get around to going private. I will say that we will be in a breathtakingly beautiful town that is surrounded by the Rockies on all sides. It is a terrific area for a vacation (hiking, skiing, and exploring) and we will have space for guests (hint, hint).
I was really hoping to make it back to Ohio for a visit before the big move. Now, due to the outrageous price of housing in our new town and rising gas prices, it is just does not appear to be in the budget. This is a very difficult thing for me because my Dad has been sick again and I would really like to be there for my family. I am still hoping that there will be a cheap ticket pop up with an airline, but I am not holding my breath.

Congrats on buying a house- I'm sure you will have so much fun decorating and getting used to your new surroundings!
Christy I've been popping in from time to time... Congratulations on the house and I hope your dad gets better soon.
